I am out of patience with some body, I know not whom. Your letter of the 4th of August, reached but last night. It had been certainly to Cape Cod, and what other travels it had made I know not. I readily consent to the appointment of Mr Pierre Gaillard upon the recommendation of Gen. Pinckney
