Sir: Referring to previous correspondence in regard to the Vienna Exposition of 1873, I have now to inclose herewith a copy of an act of Congress of 10th June last, relating to the same, and to inform you that Mr. Thomas B. Van Buren, of New York, has been appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate to represent the United States at said exposition.
