Letters to Samuel Cooper Johonnot

The Loyal Nine were nine American patriots from Boston, who met secretly to plan protests against the Stamp Act 1765 in the beginning of the American Revolution. Mostly middle class businessmen, the Loyal Nine enlisted Ebenezer Mackintosh to rally large crowds of commoners to their cause and provided the protesters with food, drink, and supplies.
