Madam: I have the honor, on behalf of the town council of Geelong, in the colony of Victoria, Australia, to forward (through William Blanchard, esq., the American consul) the accompanying address from that body, of sympathy and condolence with you in your deep affliction on the lamented death of your husband, the late President of the United States of America.
