I send you copy of dispatch just received from Mitchellsville. We have sent forward cavalry to open communication with General Mc- municate immediately.

Since telegraphing, Major Paramore, of the Third Ohio Cavalry, of
Colonel Zahm's command, has arrived, and reports that up to 5 o'clock
