HEADQUARTERS FOURTEENTH ARMY CORPS,
Nashville, Tenn., November 27, 1862.
A brigade stationed at Hartsville marched to Tompkinsville within the last two days. Do not think it possible that the enemy could have gone where you say without their knowing it.
