My Dear Sir: I have received with much satisfaction your letter of the day before yesterday, in which you informed me of the purport of telegraphic communications which you addressed to the governor of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward’s island, in regard to the St. Albans marauders. Your just and friendly spirit is highly appreciated.
