Sir: Your despatches No. 323, of February 28, and No. 324, of March 6, have been received. The explanation given in the former is entirely satisfactory, and leaves happily nothing to censure or regret in any quarter. The information communicated in your No. 324, relative to the resignation and the subsequent reappointment of the Duke de Loulé, is very interesting.
