Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge with thanks the receipt of your note of the 12th instant, transmitting a copy of a note from his excellency the governor general of Canada relative to the alleged existence of a military organization in Canada of fugitives from the United States, which formed the subject of my communication of the 29th ultimo to Lord Lyons.
