June 30, 1862. Col. J. C. KELTON, Assistant Adjutant-General, Corinth, Miss. :
I have sent a copy of the commanding generalâs dispatch directing the recall of Hamiltonâs forces, in case I am satisfied there is no large rebel force at Holly Springs, to that general, with orders for him to return if he still continues satisfied that there is no rebel force there. He will be at Salem to-night. Dispatch just received, dated this morning, has nothing new or different from what has already been reported from Holly Springs.
