6. Capt. R. ’. Drum, assistant adjutant-general, is relieved from the operation of paragraph 6, Special Orders, No. 181, from this office, dated July 8, 1861, which directed him to report in person at this office, and will remain at the headquarters of the Department of the Pacific. Lieut. Col. D. C. Buell is relieved from duty in the Department of the Pacific and will report immediately in person to the Adjutant-General.
