Letter
Señor Don George Williamson to Mr. Moncrieff, agent Pacific Mail Steamship Company, April 25, 1874
[Inclosure 3 in No. 146 bis.—Telegram.]
Mr. Williamson to Mr. Moncrieff, agent Pacific Mail Steamship Company.
United States Legation in Central America, Guatemala, April 25, 1874—11 a.m.
Sir: Your telegram just received. I know of no cause for detention of ship if Mr. José Maria Gonzalez is not on board. Should he be on board, I think his conduct has so placed him in outlawry, that he ought to be delivered up for trial according to the laws of Guatemala.
If it is considered necessary, I will immediately leave for San José.
I am, &c.,
GEO. WILLIAMSON.
