Breck, Assistant Adjutant-General, Fort Snelling:

Agent Porter has called upon me to remove intruders from reservation, apprehending serious trouble between them and Indians. Sent detachment last; night, and will overtake them myself to-day; go in command of party, and capture or remove all trespassers I can find.
