R. S. Rodgers to Burleigh, May 10, 1864

MARTINSBURG

Captain BURLEIGH : The quartermaster reports that the four horses taken belonged to his department, and were not sutlers, as was reported to me by the men who brought the intelligence first. No sutlers have gone out. They were said to be coming in.
