As the Election for Governor & Lieut Gov r . draws near I would be glad to know how Matters Respecting this stand below, & whom the lower Counties will be disposed to chuse.

Your Name is mentioned here and so is Gen l Schuilers–€” As I am disposed to render you all the Service I can on this Occasion, please to favour me with a few Lines on the Subject and who is held up at Esopus for Lieut. Gov r . that we may know how to conduct ourselves here. 2 on this occasion Your Answer by the Bearer will oblidge in great Haste your most Hum. Serv t .
