HEADQUARTERS FIFTH ARMY CORPS,

~March 25, 1865. Lieutenant RAWLES,

Commanding Artillery, Hatcher’s Run:

The enemy have broken through our lines on General Parke’s front. You will at once get two of your batteries ready and report to Brevet Major-General Griffin, and follow his column.
