Letter

Lederer to Hamilton Fish, August 5, 1874

No. 25. Baron Lederer to Mr. Fish.

[Translation.]

Mr. Secretary of State: In order to prevent any misunderstanding, I have the honor to inform you, Mr. Secretary of State, that the international quarantine conference, to which my communication of June 16 had reference, has just terminated its sessions, and that the sending of a delegate to represent the United States will thus be unnecessary.

Be pleased, &c.

LEDERER.
