I have just received information from one of my staff, just returned from Vienna, that the scouts of the Sixth Michigan Cavalry report Stuart has arrived at Aldie this afternoon in considerable force. Colonel Gurney would like another infantry regiment at Vienna.

Major-General HEINTZELMAN, Commanding Department of Washington: Scouts sent out toward Goose Creek, on the Frying Pan road, have returned, and report, from intelligence received from Union citizens there, that Stonewall Jackson is at or near Aldie, with a large force. The parties sent out toward Aldie and on the Warrenton pike have not yet orted. jee JUL. STAHEL, Major-General.
P. S.—I transmit the above as a report received, but do not give it any credit. I have just received information to the contrary. Campfires have been seen to-night west of Leesburg.
