HEADQUARTERS FIRST ARMY CORPS,

April 30, 1863—p. m. Major-General SEDGWIOK : Large bodies of infantry are now moving up to our right, from across the Massaponax. Columns 3,000 to 5,000 strong. I think it must be troops from Richmond.
