The major-general commanding announces the following as the staff of the Army of the West:

Adjutant-General’s Department.—Maj. Thomas L. Snead and Capt. James M. Loughborough, assistant adjutants-general.

Quartermaster’s Department.—Maj. Randolph H. Dyer, chief quarter. master.

_ Subsistence Department.—Maj. John Reid, chief commissary of subsistence.

Medical Depurtment.—Surg. T. D. Wooten, medical director.

Ordnance Department.—Capt. Thomas H. Price, chief of ordnance.

ace be eh Department.—Capt. Henry M. Clark, inspector: general.

Engineer’s Department.—Lieut. John G. Kelly, chief engineer.

Aides-de-Camp.—Lieuts. Robert C. Wood and Clay Taylor.
