Sir: Your despatch of the 11th instant, No. 1131, relative to the recent articles in the Times upon the subject of the expansion of the British export trade to this country, has been received, and the matter is conceived to be of such importance that I have submitted your interesting communication to the Secretary of the Treasury, in order that he may become acquainted with its contents.
