Sir: Referring to my No. 589, of the 30th ultimo, in relation to the denial of the report that Germany is in treaty with Denmark for the acquisition of the Danish West India Islands, I now inclose for your information copies of further dispatches upon the subject from the ministers of the United States at Berlin and Copenhagen, respectively.
