Sir: I have to acknowledge the receipt of your No. 402. of the 13th ultimo, in regard to the approaching Exposition at Vienna. In reply, I have to state that the subject-has been recommended to the consideration of Congress, by whom it is regarded with favor, but, as yet, no appropriation has been made by that body.
