SIR: I have the honor to report that 1 have this day abandoned this post, by instructions received from the headquarters District of Oregon, dated Fort Vancouver, Wash. Ter., June 11, 1861. The public property was all duly turned over to the proper departments at Fort Vancouver. Inclosed is the post return to date. I am, sir,
