Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt last night of your telegram, reading as follows: [See ante, No. 207.] I have to-day communicated a copy of the above telegram to Mr. W. O. Fox, consul at Brunswick, with instructions to carefully and promptly execute it. I will send this report as soon as it is received. A copy of my letter to him is herewith inclosed.
