CHIEF QUARTERMASTER’S OFFICE,
Opposite Fredericksburg, Va., April 23, 1862.
Capt. J. O. WILLARD, Acting Assistant Quartermaster, Headquarters : I understand that you can obtain corn at the farm of Mr. , about 2 miles from here. You will send your teams to haul
sufficient from there to this place for this day’s supply for animals at these headquarters.
