Boisrond Canal to By the President. The, July 3, 1879

Republic of Hayti.
Liberty! Equality! Fraternity!
Order.
Boisrond Canal, President of Hayti, in view of Article 117 of the constitution, on the advice of the council of secretaries of state, orders:
- Article 1. Amnesty, full and entire, shall be accorded to every citizen who has complicated himself in the events of taking arms, which occurred on the 30th of June, upon condition that he immediately ground his arms and retires peaceably.
- Art. 2. There shall be excepted from this amnesty the chiefs of the insurrection, Messrs. Boyer Bazelais and Edmond Paul, who shall deliver themselves up to justice, or they shall be permitted to leave the country, if they so desire.
- Art. 3. The secretaries of state are charged, each in that which concerns him, in the execution of the present order, which shall be printed and published.
Done at the national palace, at Port au Prince, July 3, 1879, in the year 76th of the independence.
