Letter

BLAINE, Secretary to Noyes, March 17, 1881

No. 225. Mr. Blaine to Mr. Noyes.

[Telegram.]

It is indicated to me that there are impediments to entry of pork products shipped before the date of prohibitory decree. Insist energetically that all shipments made before date of decree shall be received on proper inspection, as otherwise great hardship will result to American shippers.

BLAINE, Secretary.
