HEADQUARTERS CAVALRY CORPS,
June 7, 1863.
June 7, 1863—9 a. m. General S. WILLIAMS, Adjutant-General, Army of the Potomac: Have arrived at this place, Warrenton Junction. The command under Duffié has returned. Went within 4 miles of Culpeper, the enemy’s skirmishers falling back all the time. Let Shaler’s command be ready for work at Kelly’s Ford early tomorrow morning. oro
