Jacob Samils Haldeman was an American banker, politician and ambassador from Pennsylvania who served as Minister Resident of the United States at Stockholm from 1861 to 1864. He also served as a Democratic-Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1850 to 1851 and the Pennsylvania Senate for the 12th district from 1853 to 1856.
